1 Utama’s Amaze Work Programme is the first of its kind launched in a Malaysian shopping mall, created to help Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) adults find meaningful employment opportunities within the mall.
Fostering autism awareness and championing inclusivity, 1 Utama and its retail partners are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where ASD adults are not only accepted but also able to expand their skills and contributions.
With a tailored approach to facilitate successful hiring, training and workplace integration, Amaze Work Programme is paving the way for a more inclusive and supportive workspace for all.

Amaze Work Programme Application Process
Amaze Work Programme is a 3-month orientation programme (with monthly allowances as agreed during interview with retail partner) that supports candidates on the spectrum throughout the hiring process.
Requirements:
- Working adults aged 18 and above
- Registered as a member of As I Am with a valid JKM OKU card.
- Able to commute to 1 Utama.
- Capable of working independently.
