E-waste, PET Beverage Plastic Bottle, Aluminum Drink Can, Paper, Carton Box, Fabric, Clothes, Bags, Toys and Lanyards.

How to Recycle & Be Rewarded?

1. 1. Bring recyclables to 1RC Service Counter for inspection.
   2.  Login to 1 Utama’s SuperApp and tap on the ‘Green’ tab to scan QR code and collect Green Points (GP). Find out your Carbon Footprint savings by tracking your transaction history.
   3. Accumulate GP and opt to convert to
      (i) ForestONE water to plant a tree: 1GP = 20 ForestONE water (no minimum GP to convert) OR
      (ii) ONECARD UPoints: 1GP = 1 UPoint (minimum 1,000 GP worth RM10 required for conversion)

*should shoppers not require Green Points earning, recyclables can be directly deposited into the 1RC Drop-off Depot except for paper and carton boxes.

ForestONE – 1 Utama’s Mobile Tree Planting Game

Play ForestONE and join 1 Utama’s meaningful reforestation efforts to protect endangered Malaysian trees. For every virtual tree you grow, 1 Utama will plant a live tree in return. Convert Green Points to virtual ForestONE water by recycling at 1RC to water your virtual tree and complete all growth levels. Once your tree reaches maturity, players will earn an e-Tree Certificate, and you’ll get to see your trees come to life! Together, let’s make the planet greener one tree at a time.

CO2 Tracker

1 Utama’s CO2 Tracker is available free for download on 1 Utama’s SuperApp. Use this handy carbon calculator to calculate carbon footprint for different categories of recyclables and green activities like walking, cycling and choosing not to use plastic bags and straws to track each ecological impact.

• Tap on the ‘Green’ tab in 1 Utama’s SuperApp.
• Select “C02 Tracker”.
• Input variables and view your total carbon footprint savings.

View and pose for photos at the 1RC instagrammable art piece curated from a mixed media of plastic caps and bottles collected and upcycled by the mall. This unique art-cycling installation features 1 Utama’s Rainforest and Secret Garden green attractions and aims to raise awareness on plastic waste and the importance of recycling.
